AES Raises Money for United Way The employees of AES Northeast contributed more than $2,300 to the 2007 fundraising campaign of the United Way of Clinton and Essex County, Inc. AES contributed under the United Way’s Architectural/Engineering Division which in previous years, had no participation. The United Way campaign for 2008 has just begun and AES has already pledged donations of $2,171. |

Erin Sears, Intern Architect, Raises Money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Erin joined the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training program. This program trains people to accomplish athletic goals in order to raise money needed to fund research to find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life for patients and families affected by these diseases. Erin’s goal was to raise $3,600 for this great cause, but with her persistence, she raised a whopping $4,114 ($650 from AES contributions). Erin ran 26.2 miles on June 4, 2006 in the Rock-N-Roll San Diego Marathon and finished in 5 hours and 26 minutes. |

MathCounts Competition For the 17th consecutive year, AES Northeast will be the sponsor of the Clinton and Essex County Regional MathCounts Competition. Math Counts is a Nationwide math competition for 7th and 8th graders. This year’s competition will be held on Saturday, February 9th. |

AES Northeast now offers its Clients the service of Thermographic Studies. AES has purchased an Infrared Camera System and has trained key personnel in its operation. Infrared Cameras and Thermographic Studies are used to document thermal efficiency of buildings, show water leaks and drying action in structures, and can show when an electrical circuit is overloaded, which could result in a fire. AES is utilizing this system in reviewing existing conditions of structures and in review of construction practices during new construction. Below |

AES attended the Adirondack Park Agency’s APA Local Government Day on March 22, 2007 at the Crown Plaza in Lake Placid and also the Business Expo on May 17, 2007 held at the Plattsburgh State Field House. Look for us at future events such as these. |
