Project Engineer

Architectural Technician

Full time architectural CAD drafting and building design position associated with the construction, renovation or alteration of buildings and associated facilities. CAD drafting includes architectural, structural, mechanical and civil disciplines for schematic design, final design and construction drawings. Reviews contractor shop drawings, makes construction observations, prepares specifications, and other associated work. Requires knowledge of building construction, construction drawings, ADA/ANSI standards, building codes, and other applicable standards for building design. Candidates shall have a strong background in AutoCAD CAD drafting software with a minimum of 5 years experience. A 2 year or 4 year degree in architecture, architectural technology, building design/construction or associated disciplines is preferred but not required. Mechanical Designer:   AES Northeast is seeking a mechanical engineer/designer in building systems design.  Duties shall include preparation of CAD drawings and design of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, process piping and controls related to commercial building construction and industrial processes.  Candidate shall have knowledge of relevant mechanical codes, standards, concepts, principles, practices, established procedures, and be able to work closely, communicate and coordinate with other engineering staff, clients, and contractors.  Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and experience in AutoCAD required.  Competitive salary commensurate with experience and excellent benefit package.  E-mail cover letter and resume to:  nathanbull@aesnortheast.com

CADD Technician:

Construction Observer

Construction Observer: AES Northeast needs experienced individuals for construction oversight for municipal projects relating to heavy highway/utilities (water and sewer) and building construction for the 2010 construction season. Positions are seasonal and are based on construction activities. Minimum of five years building construction experience required. Engineering/Architectural background is preferable.
