Hannah Sheehan

Engineering Technician II

Hannah is a graduate of Clarkson University with a B.S. in Environmental Engineering in active pursuit of her certification as a Professional Engineer (PE). She has 5+ years of professional experience where she has served in many roles, including design engineer, resident project representative, engineering project manager, and grant writer for drinking, storm, and clean water (i.e., wastewater) projects around New York State. Hannah is certified as a Stormwater Technician, responsible for producing stormwater management plans, stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP), and completing onsite inspections of public and private development projects. She dedicates her time to providing quality opportunities for connection, engagement, learning, and growth for all members of the water community and public through her role with AES and active participation with the Water Environment Federation (WEF) and American Water Works Association (AWWA) at local, state, and federal levels. Hannah is passionate about providing resilient infrastructure and protecting the quality of our waterbodies and communities for future generations. Outside of work, she finds joy in paddleboarding, baking, and traveling the country to watch baseball.
