John McCormack

John is a new addition to the Survey team at AES, but his initial move to the North Country was as a Paul Smith's College student. After graduating, he moved out of the area briefly and started working full-time in the Land Surveying field, gaining valuable experience outside the office. He returned to Clinton County for an opportunity in Land Surveying and had the opportunity to expand his knowledge working as a part of the Engineering Staff at Clinton County Highway Department. 

With goals of pursuing his Professional Land Surveyor license, he is appreciative of the opportunity to work alongside AES's experienced Surveyors.

John and his wife, Halie, reside in Dannemora and enjoy spending time with friends and family, being in the outdoors whether it's walking, hiking on one of the many Adirondack Mountain trails, camping at a site with a lake view, fishing, hunting and last (but not least) playing fetch with their super-cute Black Lab, Jake.
