Mark Burdo

Mark is an accomplished professional in the field of surveying, engineering, and construction, bringing over two decades of experience to his work. He holds a Drafting Certificate from the Champlain Valley Technical Education Center, which provided him with a solid foundation in design principles and technical skills essential for his career in surveying and construction.

From 2001 to 2006, Mark began his career at AES Northeast, where he gained invaluable experience working in both the Surveying and Engineering Departments. His time at AES equipped him with a robust understanding of the technical aspects of surveying, as well as the collaborative dynamics of engineering projects. This early exposure to the industry laid the groundwork for his future endeavors.

In 2006, Mark relocated to the Albany, NY area, where he took on the role of Survey Crew Chief from 2006 to 2011. In this position, he honed his leadership skills and demonstrated his ability to manage survey teams effectively, ensuring the accurate and timely completion of surveying projects. His commitment to excellence and attention to detail quickly made him a valued team member in the local construction community.

Transitioning to the construction field in 2011, Mark served as the Lead Construction Surveyor for several of the largest construction companies in the Albany area. Over the next thirteen years, he played an integral role in numerous high-profile projects, utilizing his extensive surveying knowledge to guide construction processes and facilitate successful project outcomes. His expertise in this capacity has earned him a reputation as a reliable and skilled professional within the industry.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Mark is passionate about outdoor activities. He enjoys spending his leisure time golfing and fishing, finding solace and relaxation in nature. Additionally, he is a dedicated father who loves attending his daughter’s high school sports events, where he supports her athletic endeavors with pride.
